Thank you for the honest service.

My car started acting up in Smithville while I was on way to Schulenburg. (I live in Elgin) Got it home, took it to dealer in Bastrop where I bought it but they were unable to work on it. So I called L&M and spoke to Gary. Being widowed I was scared to death this would be a huge, expensive fix. Gary immediately made me feel less worried. He went the next day and picked it up from the dealer, and they worked on it today. It just needed new fluid and servicing. They COULD have told me anything and I would never have known better, I am very impressed with their honesty! My car is back on the road, and to top it all off, they left me a personal handwritten thank you from Karen in my car for me! I have NEVER had a shop leave a thank you note! Next time I need to put a vehicle in the shop, I will be back at L & M Automotive! THANK YOU!!! - Janice D.

Honest crew at L & M Automotive.

I had my ford truck at serveral shops and spent hundreds of dollars to repair a problem that never went away, I finally took my truck to L&M based on advice from a co-worker and for $45.00 dollars my problem is repaired and I dont have to stare at that check engine light any more. Thank you Tom and the guys at L&M for your honesty. They now service my wife's Toyota and I recommend L&M to all my friends and co-workers. - Ruben C.

Quick service!

Fuel pump went out on Ford Expedition. Luckily it was in town. 65$ tow (not bad). Quote they gave me for 3 hours of work was right on target. Fixed in less than a day! - Chris B.

Thanks for all the help guys!

My wife and I took her car in after it left her stranded. They took really good care of us and explained exactly why we had our issue and everything it would take to fix it. The price was fair and our headache is gone! Thanks for all the help guys!!! - Brian F.

On schedule with no problems!

We were camping at Bastrop State Park with our 5th wheel trailer when the truck started acting up. I was convinced it was the transmission, and was prepared to fork out several thousand dollars and extend our stay by several days before being able to get home. I told my sad tale to Ty in the office, who treated me very well. He listened to me, then we drove the truck back to the campsite and he drove it back to the shop. Not more than two hours later he called back to tell me the diagnostics found nothing wrong. He even told me why my ABS light had been on for several years, but didn't press to repair it. I asked him to go ahead and change the transmission fluid and filter since it was due anyway. After performing that service, which gave them opportunity to look deeper and still find nothing wrong, he brought the truck back to me before noon. The only thing he charged me for was the fluid change. I was beyond relieved. We both knew I was at his mercy, and I was treated very fairly. We made it home on schedule with no problems. - Robert W.
